I've been dealing with this for a while but can't seem to find a preference, toggle, keyboard shortcut or whatever. Started with CS6. 

When I have a mask on a layer and I use the move tool it defaults to editing the mask instead of moving the layer. Any ideas on how I turn this 'feature' off? It seems like a great hot key feature but not a good always on one.
