| Im getting the shape in Element but not the chip face or texture. Is there something else I need to do to see the face in Element? I selected that layer (the chip psd doc) as the custom texture. But still don't see it.

Yes, using auto trace is normally good for that. Then under Element, add the mask to custom masks and obviously the Photoshop layer to texture. Then when you're in the Element interface, you can extrude and point to the chip texture.

I have a hi res photoshop image of a computer chip. Need to edit this boring shot into a sizzle reel. Its all the art I have. I thought its a perfect candidate for Element. I once mapped titles to a football in Element and it worked great. But I need to use this chip and its odd shape (square but with clipped corners) and extrude and then use all the eye candy Element gives me by making this a particle. But how do I import this image into Element? Do I need to mask the outline first?
