Hi,
I often need multiple versions of a .PSD file, for example a character to
be used in an animation, may need different clothes and hair styles, these PSD
files have many layers.
I need to use the same AE project, I only want to
swap the PSD, let’s say for example a different version of the PSD for each
scene (one AE project file for each scene).
Is there an easy way to do
this without a lot of hassle, not having to rename the original PSD and having
to replace it every time for each time I work on an AE project?
I would
like to know about a solution that does not require making another copy of the
project etc.
I have read in older ae-list posts about for example
exporting and search/replace in an XML file, but there must be a better
way?
