I run nearly the whole business through a dedicated Amer= ican Express card, which keeps my expenses in order and separate from my per= sonal life (I also keep a VISA card for when Amex isn't accepted). A nice bo= nus are the frequent flyer miles I accrue this way-- I haven't paid for my N= AB airfare in 10 years). Come tax time I download and import my Amex stateme= nts into quicken (quicken 2007!), categorize them, print a report and give t= hat to my accountant (I am a subchapter S corporation).=20 As for taxes, I have a payroll service handle all my withholding and filing.= I'm the only employee and it costs about $40 whenever I run a paycheck (mon= thly, when I can) but at the end of the year I've paid in what I should and h= ave all the paperwork done to boot. No muss, no fuss, worth every penny. Good luck freelancing, I'm proof it's doable despite the odds. :-) Rob Birnholz Absolute Motion Graphics, Inc.=20 Longwood, Florida www.absolutemotiongraphics.com (sent from a mobile device) On Apr 4, 2013, at 5:11 PM, Robert Houghton wrote: > P.S.
