I was fired in 2003. Devastating. But the company went under a year later and I have been on my own now for 10 years. In hindsight its the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm not rich by any means but I enjoy what I do and have some freedom. All in all no complaints. Was hard at first but worth all the pain.
Stay positive.
