the current exposure control is currently toggleable like you are requesting unless i am misunderstanding.  slide value to something high then try toggleing

Use it often as is to check the composite although I would love the alpha and gamma additions as well. Wouldn't mind it keeping a previous state so I could just click on it for a level slam and click it off. Toggle it on and off as well as sliding it around.
