| That is also neat "hack". One problem is that for most people that don't use a US keyboard there's no tilde key to be found in the right location. You have to edit the preference file (yeah, there are some scripts - but it still a hassle since you need to find the right codes)
So: an update display on/off switch would still be nice to have in the compositing window.
/ tobias I always dock my Render Queue at the bottom of my workspace. When rendering, I expand it to full screen with the tilde key. Use the tilde key again to check images periodically. Works for me.
