Also, to be clear.. Adobe gives you a grace period if payment does not go through, as well..


 Q:  Can you be “locked out” of apps you downloaded if your monthly payment does not clear for some reason?
 A:  We provide you with a grace period if your credit card stops working or expires. You would be notified and given about five days to fix the issues. You will not be cut off immediately or without warning.

I've actually run into this situation with Cloud before, and it was nice to know the extra grace period was available..   Had some dry months last year and began scraping the bottom of the freelancing barrel from my backup funds.. I had a check that should have come in on a Friday, and it wasn't here until Wednesday of the following week.. Long story short, Creative Cloud stayed registered for me through the time period and when my check cleared, payment was made and everything was fine..

It was a little scary to think that if I hadn't gotten that money in, my software would be null and void.. i.e. I don't have any money, because my software wasn't paid for, because I can't make any money, viscous cycle..

Yes, the activation ends after the last time period that you've paid the subscription fee for.
