Hey all,
I'm working on a project where I have a lot of different elements created with GPU-intense effects such as Videocopilot Element and optical flares. It's working out pretty good, but at "the top" of my comp tree, in my main comp, the AE GUI behaves really sluggish. A click to select a layer can take a second or two. If I step down in the nested comps the GUI is fine, so my guess is that all GPU-effects sort of hogs the GFX card.

Does anybody know if it would help GUI rendering to add in another GFX-card? I'm guessing some effects might render faster, but I'm only really interested in having the AE GUI snappiness back.
