you can't just trash your apps. they have to be properly uninstalled =
because the uninstall process updates local housekeeping files on the =
apps status and removes a lot of other files.

google "adobe cleanup script"

go get it. run it and follow the in app directions.  this removes not =
just the apps, but the housekeeping files too. consider it the nukular =
deinstall. then reinstall apps.

honestly with the local .DMG install file its pretty fast and painless, =
especially with SSD :)

if you had CS6 installed from DVD / .DMG on the machine and switched to =
cloud  ... lets just say sometimes @!#t happens and the clean up script =
should get you going.

the cloud installers do really work.
