It appears that they had problems with CS5 and CS5.5 and Mac OS10.7. They made patches for those updaters.

Unfortunately, I am on 10.7.5 and changing that one my main computer is not an option.

And I have been talking to someone at Adobe thanks to this list.

Issue

When you install updates for Creative Cloud or CS6 products, you receive the following error:

"There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210."

Solutions

Do one or both of the following:

Solution 1: Restart your computer and try again.

Solution 2: Download the update from Adobe.com.

Solution 3: Uninstall and reinstall the Adobe Creative software you are facing difficulties applying the update too.

  • Windows users can remove the software by going to the Programs and Features control panel.
  • Macintosh users can remove the software by using the uninstallers in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.

Solution 4: Review the installation log files.

If you continue to experience difficulties with the installation, review the installation log for the update. The installation log is named similar to the update that fails. You can find more details on where to locate the log files and how to review them at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6.
