Still using an old tower, but i have a card reader around somewhere. Does it have a direct USB connection which is what I use on my other cameras/
Worried about AVCHD, which seems needed for some functions -- needed for best data rate on LX 7, -- can I do slo - mo to .mov. Their concept of slo mo seems to be shoot at 60 play back at 24 unless I am missing something.
One more question. The highest data rate is achieved with all intra which concerns me as I've seen ghosting on dance videos shot with my LX-7, DO you see any of that.
Retina display and start playing it immediately or copying it to the internal drive. The workflow is great. You don't need those other tools. If you record h264 you can begin working with the movies immediately.

There are on-line posts about Handbrake, which claim can solve this problem.
What are the issues here -- I don't want to plunk down 2 -- 3 K only to find that it is a big pain to get my movies over to my mac.
