I have spent more hours getting it to work than anyone needs to spend. = Eight days actually. It is much faster to use the browser and download the updates than it is = to use the Adobe Application Manager. But Creative Cloud won't let you = do that with every app and it takes forever to install the apps. So no, = it is not my connection. TIP: For those of you who haven't noticed - there are two Library = folders in the Mac OS. (I knew that). In Mac 10.7 and above the Library = folder in the User folder is hidden. To see it you have to hold down the = Option key while opening the Go menu where it will be revealed. So I uninstalled al of my old Adobe Apps and then I deleted every Adobe = preference and Application Support App that was dated before 2012 in = both Library folders.=20 Another tip - make sure to check because the Uninstall programs do a = very poor job of actually uninstalling everything. Sure the Cleaner App = will nuke your programs, but there are still bits and pieces that it = misses. After all that and a wasted hour and half with Adobe Tech Support. I = just worked through it myself - Goodbye Saturday! Then I wasted more time reading Tech Support documents. Getting usable = info from them is like trying to find the key to unlocking a dead = language. There are plenty of complaints and enquiries, but very few = actual solutions. I don't know if it is an Air problem or a Flash = problem or maybe the instal order matters or maybe it is just poor = programming. So here's what I have deduced. Please bear in mind that I am not a = programmer and I reserve the right to be completely wrong.=20 The AAM is badly, deeply flawed. Sometimes, I would load it and it would = say that I had certain apps that needed to be installed and others that = needed updates. Then I would delete any AAM support files I could find = in the Application Support and Preference folders including the OOBE = folders. When I would run it again until nothing needed updates.=20 My clue to trash stuff was that if it said an app needed updating and = then I got an error when I tried to update it, I would just stop, trash = AAM prefs, the OOBE and anything else that looked related to the AAM and = try again. Or if an install errored out, I would do the same thing. What I found is that if I did this enough times, eventually everything = installed. The last app I installed was Acrobat which stubbornly refused to = install. Then the eula would come up blank. Finally, I found something = that suggested that to see the eula, you first had to Deactivate another = app in the Creative Cloud Suite. I chose Dreamweaver and it worked. Now = I just need to reactivate Dreamweaver and I think it all will work. Wow, there's nothing like a straightforward solution. Like I said, I'm no programmer, but surely they can run a conflict = catcher to delete outdated files that might conflict with the installs. Anyway, I appear to be working and so I will move forward wondering how = long it will take to get the bad taste out of mouth.
