| I've been without a fully working laptop now for over a year and frankly have survived just fine. But with current machines packing quad core i7's, I suppose untethering myself from the big workstation and actually getting real work done is a possibility once again. Any recommendations on what you'd consider the best 15" MacbookPro configuration? At the very least I'll upgrade the RAM and hard drive (I guess that means no retina display model). I suppose this means I'm looking at the best processor and GPU combo I can get for the money. Plenty of good refurbs and clearance units from Apple right now, possibly a sign new models are coming at WWDC. Primary use for would be as a secondary AE/C4D/Premiere Pro machine. My iPad can handle pretty much everything else. Thanks in advance for the advice.
