I have never noticed the small speed improvements in the= se machines unto this one. It launches PS immediately and I mean immediately= , ready to use.=20 AE in my desktop MacPro tower takes 1:15 to launch with all my filters, pres= ets, etc. my MacBookPro has AE open and ready to go in 15 seconds.=20 Renders are slightly slower for most things in AE, but then I have 32 gigs o= n my desktop and a very fast Cuda card which picks up all my sapphire plug i= ns, etc, plus I have very fast fibre to a large San, so for the renders to b= e close in time with my desktop is also impressive. Connectivity really improves with thunderbolt and USB 3.
