| Rob: I just got the latest macBookpro retina display with fastest processor, 16 gigs of ram 768 SDD. I have never noticed the small speed improvements in these machines unto this one. It launches PS immediately and I mean immediately, ready to use. AE in my desktop MacPro tower takes 1:15 to launch with all my filters, presets, etc. my MacBookPro has AE open and ready to go in 15 seconds. Renders are slightly slower for most things in AE, but then I have 32 gigs on my desktop and a very fast Cuda card which picks up all my sapphire plug ins, etc, plus I have very fast fibre to a large San, so for the renders to be close in time with my desktop is also impressive. Connectivity really improves with thunderbolt and USB 3. No more waiting to copy large files.
