The software will alert you when you need to connect to the Internet for a license status check." If Adobe had required a 24hr internet connection to run the app, that not only would not only be foolish, but would probably remove many Adobe apps from the industry over night, as many offices are required to have zero web access areas for sensitive work. Many studios need this protection to prevent hackers/loose lips from leaking high profile projects easily. Not that it still can't be done, but it's a security requirement. We've had a number of projects that has required a no internet access setup. If Adobe ever switched over to a 24hr internet access setup, then our office would be forced to leave Adobe all together. I don't think either side wants that. |
