The people this will negatively impact are the ones who maybe can’t afford to upgrade every time and therefore can’t afford to pay $600 a year for a subscription. With the current model these people could still work with the version they have. Once using the cloud model, a lapse in subscription means they can’t work and therefore can’t earn the money needed to pay for the subscription. I personally like to own the licenses of my software. Some packages need a subscription to keep up to date but if I stop paying that, for whatever reason, the software still works. I just don’t get my updates. I would have liked CC to have been running parallel with CS for a few versions before forcing everyone over to it.
