Once a month I get a = message that I need to "register my software", which means it's time to = check in with the mother ship=85 a click of a button or two is all it = takes. No interruption in service, literally takes seconds. Otherwise, = functionally everything is the same as it's ever been (only faster and = easier). My "worry" about the cloud model is that one day I'll stop paying and = suddenly won't be able to open my AE projects. But really, that's = totally irrational. The day I stop paying Adobe for current versions is = the day I'll have no need or desire to open all those old projects = anyway.
