Ya, while the fast connection Internet is making it's way around to more areas, there are plenty of slow low end DSL lines that aren't leaving anytime soon. I feel your pain Mylenium, I'm stuck at 2.2Mbps down and 0.4Mbps up. The new CC release cycle should be interesting for third party plugins. I haven't done much research yet into this area or seen any talk about it yet. How, if at all, does it effect third party development? Curious if the new CC release cycle would be roughly on par with the old CS yearly'ish release cycle. I do share some minor concerns about the hardware compatibility over time, but only if the CC updates/releases were at such a faster rate than the previous CS cycle. There are many companies/freelancers that carry old versions many generations back. I actually use a Mac laptop running OS X 10.7.2 and have CS3-CS6 running for my script development testing. My home tower also still has AE7 as well.
