I want to respond to this directly as I have seen a lot of this FUD (Fear,
Uncertainty and Doubt). Frankly, this is nothing but idle fear mongering.

A subscription model has zero incentive to jack prices over time as it
then introduces a strong barrier to entry for new customers.  If you live
in the US - go to a Verizon or AT&T store - and see if you think entry
prices have gone up over the last 10 years.  They haven't.

Sure there's been say new services or devices that cost extra - but the
base cost of the platform in fact usually goes down - NOT up.

As for what we at Adobe have in store downstream, I can't comment - but I
will state that we are highly motivated to provide value via Creative
Cloud, hence the many promotions with discounts we run as incentive to
join it.
