It is no different in that regard than any prev= ious version of After Effects. You do need to connect your computer to the Internet every once in a while = to allow it to update its activation, but that is only once every several m= onths (if you have an annual subscription). I gave specifics in an earlier = post on this thread. Of course, there are some features (like using online Help, downloading thi= ngs from the Exchange, using the bug-report form) that require an Internet = connection, just like in previous versions of After Effects.
