Hi Piero,
I "export selected" all the time for Element3d using the "cinema4D" obj export settings in 3ds Max. Unfortunately, these setting don't seem to work with Plexus2 and Form - the mesh doesn't show in Plexus and throws and error with the Form layer import. I have tried many of the other setting, including setting "faces" to triangles instead of quads. (this seems to be a requirement of these plugins).
I was hoping to find some guidance or recommendations on !- specific export settings -! that people have had success with.
Thnx

Thnx! Giving it a try. I actually don't need to export a sequence, but maybe this will have settings that these plugins like.

Hope this isn't to specific a question, but does any anyone know the settings to successfully export an obj from 3dsMax for use in Trapcode Form or Plexus 2?
I scoured the web and help files and I'm on a tight deadline.
Thnx

If you need to export an OBJ sequence, there are several scripts around:

Michael,
if it's one frame only then just export your mesh via Export / Obj.
Let me know if you've any other questions.
Best luck.
That's weird.
I've just done a test and it works perfectly, even though I didn't change the OBJ settings:
