A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.

off-topic, but I second this for everyone. backups are so important. I use Acronis backup for all my windows machines. Very easy to set up a one-time full backup, then incremental or differential backups every other day or week depending on working status. And 1-2 TB USB 3.0 drives are under $100 these days. What program do you use Stephen?

Incremental disk imaging is the solution to this. Nightly for critical machines and weekly/monthly for lesser machines, I schedule incremental disk images. Setup up correctly you can easily, in minutes (on my boxes, a 250 GB restore is under 15 minutes) to back in time. Plus, it’s a fast backup.
