I will take all the suggestions into account and look at options.
Finally:
 
- Is it important to have AE installed on the Windows OS SSD drive for performance? Or will software be just fine on any of the normal Hard Drives?

- It would also seem that to buy a new faster SSD it would be best to use the fastest SSD for the cache not the OS?

- Replacing the mobo and CPU feels more complicated as it’s got watercooling etc. and I did not build it myself, so perhaps replacing the RAM and bying one more SSD is the cheapest and easiest update for me now, until a new generation of CPUs come out (beyond i7)?
