The challenge I had was that each individual nu= mber was a complex, looping animation. I ended up making looping precomps for each number - so I had 10 looping = precomps (for each number 0 - 9). I then sequenced these precomps so I h= ad a single, 10 second pre comp that contained all numbers. Then I could= use this pre comp for each number in the main comp (6 times if you have = a HH:MM:SS format) with a time-remapping expression to display the correc= t number. I used an expression to drive the 6 precomps with a single overall time v= alue, but you could easily set it up with manual keyframes and just copy = / past them. Probably sounds more complex that it really was, but I thought people mig= ht be interested in a solution for more complex situations where the numb= ers themselves have to animate and not just be created by the timecode pl= ugin. -Chris -----Original Message----- From: Lou Wirth [mailto:loutv@mindspring.com] Sent: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 08:54 AM To: 'After Effects Mail List' Subject: [AE] digital clock Don't know why I am struggling with this.
