It isn't really all that complicated. The following sc= ript works as a clock display on any length video. 98% of what I do are cou= ntdowns (the reverse of this). Doing precomps work. Using key frames does t= oo. Adjusting the framerate does too. It is all about what you need and how= much time you're willing to wait for it to render. You might want to a= dd an slider with key frames so that the counter doesn't have to be 100= % accurate (make it look like clips have put together)=A0

But. Here's the magic sauce.

elapsedSeconds =3D M= ath.floor(time);
min =3D Math.floor(elapsedSeco= nds/60);
secondspart =3D el= apsedSeconds=A0 - min*60;
i= f (secondspart < 10)
=A0 =A0 =A0'' + min + = ":0" + secondspart;
else
=A0 =A0 =A0'= 9; + min + ":" + secondspart;

Yes, we have several = counter expressions in the library in the Source Text Bundle.=A0Here is a t= utorial:

The biggest advantage is that they are ver= y flexible but also easy to format - just choose which "ingredients&qu= ot; you need (hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds, am/pm) and then how to= combine them to the final format (what separator symbols to use etc).

Cheers,
Mathias
