| It certainly has its weaknesses and limited feature set, esp. compared to the sexiness of Invigorator or Element.
But I do find a few of its features useful: - I am yet to see any faceting, which I personally can't stand - interacts with other 3D layers (shadows, reflections, etc.) - compatible with text and shape animations (the later in particular being fun)
two cents - Chris

I use Element and Invigorator for my modest 3D needs, which is mostly simple logo treatments, charts, graphs, etc. from Ai files. Invigorator seems to be the best at that, because of the way it treats Layers and colors. I can't figure out a way to add a texture to an Ae extruded layer. Am I missing something? Can anybody provide some links to projects where they used Ae Ray-Traced 3D to good effect? . +---End of message---+ To unsubscribe send any message to < ae-list-off@media-motion.tv>
