| There's really no such thing as cheating. If it gets the job done, it is all ok! If you need any more reference, I could send you more than a few shots via email in h264 compressed format. I have tons of historical 3d photos from various documentaries I have worked on over the years. good luck on your project! -patrick
thank Patrick - I actually found yours in my research, and in truth I know how to do the effect I was mainly looking for the example Nathan S had, because I wanted to see how he handled spoked wheels and seeing his masterpiece I realize that his is probably way overkill - considering this is the examples we were given: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-P8WcPjMMv8 and if you see the example at 1:00 in you can see they just cut the wheel out, not bothering to even deal with the interior. It's what I would call "cheating", but if it works and it's quick then who's to say - so I'm going to do a bunch of "cheating" and we'll see where that gets me ;-)

Does anyone have the link to a tutorial on making 3D stills - the one I'm specifically looking for was from the guy who work at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (sorry I forgot your name), and it was a historic motorcycle race start. I'm looking for that one to show a producer at work what and 3D animated still would look with historic pictures from a bike race.
thanks, Tim T
