| It'd be helpful to know what OS you're using when posting problems here. But, I'm going to assume this is Mac, because I've seen this before. It's likely an OS issue. A simple reboot might fix it. If not, run the usual OS utilities, use your clone to restore to a previously good state, or reinstall your OS. In the Olde OS9 Days, rebuilding the desktop would clear up stuff like this.
