I was kind of surprised by it but my Vimeo account seemed to have a problem handling it when I uploaded m4v, but maybe that was some other issue (I didn't exhaustively test it to confirm whether or not that was the problem)
Bruce Wainer , 5/31/2013 10:46 AM: BTW, for almost all purposes the .m4v and .mp4 filetypes are interchangeable. You can usually just rename it. Although if you're delivering for a specific piece of hardware you should test it first.
Thanks. I did have audio off. Will try that!

I've run into a repeatable problem with Adobe Media Encoder, where if I choose not to include audio in the export, that happens (it ends up with m4v rather than mp4). Maybe it's the same problem.
Mr. Eric D. Kirk , 5/31/2013 10:36 AM: Hello,
I've been trying to render a little sample shot and I had a preset to keep file size down, just small mp4s. Now, when I render, no matter what I do, the output ends up being that m4v file type.
It even shows in the output name, "sequence x.mp4" but ends up being the other.
Ideas?
Thanks, Eric
