I'm an ease/whizz addict - but if you're doing comps with tons of layers etc. it can begin to slow it down, so I was in need of a more 'native' way of quickly setting velocity values - I've been using keysmith now and it's pretty dang awesome. http://aescripts.com/keysmith/

This is currently just for ease values - so bounces and springs are still gonna require something else. http://aescripts.com/animationpatterns/ is a another unique way of doing it that I haven't checked out yet.

Looking forward to other people's suggestions, but hope that helps.

I'm currently using this ease/whizz script to get curves that are not
currently possible with regular AE fcurves. It's quite clumsy and
inflexible, but it's the only way to get the sort of smoothness that
i'm looking for. Will we ever get this kind of control natively with
AE's curves?
