Adobe's Creative Cloud Application Manager has completely screwed up my life. According to it every app I use is installed and up to date.

I am however, uninstalling every Adobe app I don't need. I cannot update any apps and Adobe no longer have downloadable versions that don't go through their Application Manager.

I will see if I can figure out which app might be missing or corrupted. I guess Adobe doesn't have an app for that.

Thanks.

Scripting engine is shared between most Adobe Apps, did you recently have updated/installed a new Adobe app ?

Also, the error is DATED APRIL 2010 on Mylenium's error page.

It happens on app launch and completely disables scripting.

And it appeared out of the blue. I haven't made any changes to AE prior to it happening.

I have a feeling that it may have something to do with AIR or some other app.

Never came across that one before. When does it show up? During the app launch? After launching a script?

Does any one know what to look for to fix this error?

After Effects warning: An unknown Adobe Player Engine error has occurred. Scripting will be disabled.

FYI - I copied this from Mylenium's site. And there doesn't seem to be a fix that I could find on Adobe's site.
