Perhaps something on the backed got updated and is causing the error. I'd check to see if AE has a point update. Sometimes random errors popup without warning when the app goes through a taxing project or the OS gets wonky.
Also try rebooting your system to clear it's head. I find I have to do that with my system when offbeat errors occur. And it appeared out of the blue. I haven't made any changes to AE prior to it happening.
I have a feeling that it may have something to do with AIR or some other app.

FYI - I copied this from Mylenium's site. And there doesn't seem to be a fix that I could find on Adobe's site.
