It damaged my install of Ps, causing it to crash on launch.  The crash reporter said there was a known fix, which is to uninstall, run the cleaner, reinstall Ps and run the updater again.

Oy.

Fortunately, I have a clone, and simply copied the app from my clone to my active boot drive, and all is well again.
