After buying all the adapters I needed to run my MacBook Pro it would make laugh if they have to "rework" the thunderbolt ports so that you need to buy new cables to plug in whatever you need to. Of course we have to wait and see if they will make an NVIDIA based version of it or at least a thunderbolt module for NVIDIA.
