From the looks of it I would say this thing will NOT encourage modifications or even opening the case up. Secondly, the type of person that is going to "modify" their $5999 iMac pro is the same person who would just make a hackintosh thats 2x faster for half the price. My guess is this is lip service to the pro market so that when it doesnt sell , they can say "see? Nobody buys desktops anymore" and axe that whole division. Really, the trashcan formfactor is fitting...
