It's just sometimes the list of deliverables gets really long and inevitably i forget to render with an alpha, or perhaps I have a white or black solid at the bottom of my comp that i forgot about. It's easy to review files for deliver visually, but not for alpha channels. Even if the file info says there's an alpha, that doesn't mean it has rendered correctly.
