"Workstation class" is such a vague term.... You can have that with an iMac or any coreXi based PC for that matter. The days where you need Xeons to differntiate yourself performance-wise from "ordinary" desktop PCs are l= ong gone. Point in case: Unless you extensively exploit the hardware with its 12 cores by throwing a 3D program at it or plug in those three 4k monitors to make the GPUs glow in the dark, you won't know the difference.
