all this talk of price reminds me of buying a camera - they always up the bells and whistle but the price points remain roughly the same - for example they have a sub-$1000 camera they have a $1500+ camera and they have a $2500+ camera - they have price points that they have found people have come to expect  - I would imagine that they will be comparably price to comparable spec'ed computers.
