But that's a fairly useless piece of information overall as when you set the disk cache size you should take that into account, i.e. all caches full should be slightly less than capacity of disk. After Effects gives the warning if there isn’t adequate = headroom beyond what you’ve specified for use by the disk cache. = If you specify N for the disk cache and there’s 1.25N or less free = on the drive, then the warning appears. It’s just an informational = warning.

 

 

 

I’m getting strange behavior in AE since installing an SSD for = caching. If I have the disk cache nearly full or full, exit AE, when I = re-enter I get the message that the disk cache is not large enough for = free space on disk. However, it’s a 256GB SSD, AE cache is set to = 125 and disk has 150 GB free space.

 

Emptying the disk cache make the error go away until it fills = again.
