Here's a screenshot of the 2 apps running side by side..

it's Adobe Application Manager.. showing I have updates for Illustrator and
Photoshop CC and also Camera Raw 8 .. while creative cloud, no matter how
many restarts or reboots of the computer, shows everything is "up to date"
