Cheers to Rob Birnholz for solving this for me. Genius!
I removed the AJA Adobe plug-in, and now I can import movies to my heart's content.
I lost my external monitoring, but AJA writes on their site that the plug for CC will work best with a version of their Control Panel that isn't ready yet (version 10.5.).
So, hopefully, when that's ready, I'll be back in business.
However, the plug-in is working very well with Pr CC. Monitoring is better than ever. And we finally have audio offset, too.
Thanks again, Rob!
