I don't want to rain on your parade, but I need to point out that not every preference is transferred using Sync Settings. We don't transfer the ones that are specific to a certain computer setup (like memory settings, audio hardware settings). We didn't want to put you in a bad situation by transferring settings from a beefy desktop computer to a laptop.
