"Create shapes from vector layer" is like the holy grail for illustrator ani= mation. If you use the "Explode Shape Layer" script from Zack Lovatt....=20 www.aescripts.com/explode-shape-layer/ you can then separate the complex shape paths to individual ae layers. Also don't forget about the "shapes to masks" script and the "masks to shape= s" script. They open up the whole world of paths bending to your will.=20 There are, of course, even more awesome scripts for you to discover there. = I advise you explore the possibilities at the amazing ae scripts site.
