hmm, are you using multiple roto brush spans, or just a single span? i believe there was an issue (fixed in CC) that dealt with the end frames of adjacent spans when a temporal-related property (e.g., reduce chatter or use motion blur) was enabled. if two spans are abutting at the problem frame, it's probably this issue. aside from trying CC (probably not a thing to do on deadline), it _might_ be possible to remove one of the spans, lengthen the other to cover it, to see if that helps. however, the segmentation might change with the underlying foreground & background strokes now using a different base frame.
