It's on in new cc template? Or you synced from another machine?

Yep. That explains it. New render templates. That switch is on by default. I didn't think of that. Thanks, Danny.

any chance you have skip existing files enabled in your render settings?

In previous versions of Ae, we could Cmd-shift-d a Render Queue item, and it would over-write the previous render with the same name.
Now in Ae CC, when I do this, I hear the render chime immediately, but nothing gets rendered or changed. I have to go to the Finder, and delete the previously rendered files manually, then render to the the files to update.
Is there a way to return to the old behavior? I searched the Help file and found no results for "over-write."
