I recall the Nvidia drivers being out there for 10.7 & 10.8 but I'm reading= about 8pin to 6pin power adapters, EFI? I think we would need to lose the= ATI 5770? It is quick. I'd recommend putting in 32gb ram and works well. 

I work at another place that also has a tb ssd off the back for cache = which works well

The 680mx is nice. It can work w the raytracer but it is not better th= an most desktop cuda cards for the macpro
