I just checked, and it appears that the Multi-Machine Settings render settings template in After Effects CC (12.0) does have Skip Existing Files checked, whereas the same template in After Effects CS6 does not. That change slipped past me. I’ll add it to the list of changes:

I started fresh with a fresh new set of prefs & templates with the CC install.

I'm presuming the "skip" button is checked by default, whereas in previous versions it was unchecked.

Now in Ae CC, when I do this, I hear the render chime immediately, but nothing gets rendered or changed. I have to go to the Finder, and delete the previously rendered files manually, then render to the the files to update.

Is there a way to return to the old behavior? I searched the Help file and found no results for "over-write."
