I just figured a way, there are many Apps out there that will convert an equirectangular map to cubic faces, or essentially 6 square images. after doing that, just build a cube from the resulting 6 images, using the create 3Dcube script. I just tried it on a mac,It works great with one little exception. the corners can be obvious at extremely oblique angles, but for majority of normal shots it works like a charm and it is Super-Fast responsive to update and render. I used CubicConverter on a mac. but I am sure there are tons of apps or utilities out there on every platform and free ones too. -patrick On Jul 16, 2013, at 3:04 PM, Phil Spitler wrote: We can't upgrade to CC yet as we need to upgrade our SAN to work with 10.8 (which is happening next week I think).
No Cineware for just yet.
I could do all the processing in C4D but thought AE would be more flexible,
Thanks.
